    Riise in debt

    Several Norwegian media are reporting today that JARs stock corporation "Riise Invest AS" is £1.5million in debt despite him earning over £2million per year (which equates to just under £40k a week, by the way).

    What I'd like to know is; HOW??? What can one piss away so much money on?

        Maybe the clue is in the name of his stock company - Riise Invest (in) AS(s)

                IIRC he spent a fortune buying back his CL winners medal.

                Maybe he's paid according to how well he plays but my brother says that's obviously untrue as he'd be much more in debt than he is.

                    Good point tomasjj. Although I have seen him out in Liverpool once (the day after we beat Chelsea in CL semi) and he was absolutely hammered. He jumped on my mate's back and was hugging everyone, so I think he was successful in spending money on the booze.

                        Lets remember that the company might be in debt but that doesn't reflect his own personal holdings. Like Moores in the old days you might say
