Kicker is not equivalent to a tabloid - it's a football magazine.

      I speak German...here's a translation:

Having recently announced his desire for a transfer, Leverkusen striker Andrey Voronin's new employer is now clear - according to Kicker's information and Ukrainian sources, the 27 year old is moving to Liverpool FC.

The striker - who with 6 goals and 6 assists has been the most effective scorer this season for Skibbe's team, has reached an agreement with the English team who hold the record for most Championships as Voronin's adviser Golowach has proclaimed.

"I've been in Germany for 10 years now, that's a long time. I want to try something else", exclaimed the Ukrainian recently. The striker has been with the club for 3 years and is available for free in the summer.

Recently Scottish champions Celtic and renownked Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev made their interest in Voronin known. But the striker is not yet ready to return to his homeland - "It's too early for me" he said.

Voronin's career began with Ukrainian club Chernomorets Odessa, before he joined Borussia M'gladbach (1995-00), 1. FSV Mainz 05 (2000-03) und 1. FC Köln (2003/04) Voronin has been capped 37 times for his country.

Interesting...I trust Rafa though. Of course, it might still be rubbish.

Talking about our striker force, I would sell Crouch, release Fowler and also sell our loan players like Cisse, Pingo-Pongo and Le Tallec.

Voronin would be a decent fourth choise striker. Spend big money to the top striker like Villa or Torres.

Torres/Villa, Kuyt, Bellamy and Voronin would be an excellent striker force imo.

Just looked at a Bayer Fan website. They all seem pretty happy he is going (not good ) and dont understand why a big club like us are buying him (not good: ) and all their entries on their website regarding his depatures have smiley jester hats next to them (not good )

Geilomat Ultra. Darüber hab ich ja noch gar nicht nachgedacht. Dein vergötterter Fussballer wechselt auf die verhasste Insel und da auch noch nach Liverpool. Was machste denn jetzt?

                    These made me think/laugh.

Kicker usually doesn't print rumours just for the fun of it. If they say that he is moving to us then it's a very good chance that he will do that.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Bayern Leverkusen striker Andrei Voronin has reportedly clinched a deal to join Liverpool in the summer.

The Ukrainian international is out of contract at the end of the season and has reached a agreement that will see him join The Reds on a four-year contract in June.

Voronin had been linked with a move to Celtic in December but will now join Craig Bellamy, Peter Crouch, Robbie Fowler and Dirk Kuyt in Rafa Benitez's plans at Anfield.

The 27-year-old has bagged six goals in 20 league appearances for the German club this season and, following Bayer's 1-0 defeat to Hannover on Saturday, it was announced that the striker will pursue a career in England come the end of the season.

Voronin is keen to widen his experiences after spending a decade in Germany since joining Borussia Dortmund as an 18-year-old from his native Ukraine.

"I have been in Germany for ten years now, that is a long time," said Voronin in Kicker. "I want to see something else."

Voronin's prospective arrival could provoke fresh doubts over Fowler's future at Anfield, as the Reds hero also sees his contract expire at the end of the season.

To act a little devils advocate here, Rafa's track record for signing strikers isn't the best...or is it?
