That happens every day with everyone. Works nights out nearly always end up like that anyway. Love te way they put it in capital letters to make it seem more serious.

Looking at the responses to these dubious allegations by Rags, I can't help but wonder what the responses would've been like on here to that infamous article in The S*n of 16 April 1989.

To be perfectly honest i dont really give a **** if the players go out and get pissed up nearly a week before a game, its good for morale, team spirit and general relaxation. When we were the best team in the world LFC was known as being a drinking club and whilst the fitness aspect is way more important now, every once in a while doesnt harm anyone's fitness.
And it would be a real shock if 2 drunken mates had a barney on a Friday night and kissed and made up on the Saturday morning, major damage there.
All it is is typical London press trying to **** us up before a massive game, i was waiting for the "Gerard to Barca" story myself, perhaps that will be Monday.
One suggestion for us "fans" forget this **** and start getting excited about the fact we are playing Barca in the Nou Camp on Weds, 10 years ago we were miles away from this level I for one can remember that and am delighted that we are in a position to be excited about it.

Whilst we will never know what did or did not happen a few things are clear.
1. Some sort of incident happened between Bellamy & JAR. Whilst I don't 100% believe anything the NOTW prints, equally I don't believe nothing happened. The press will add to any story to sensationalise it but I don't believe they would make the whole thing up without any foundation.

2. some players were obviously pissed. The usual suspects are named with dudek. Again may exaggerarted but again there will be some truth to it.

3. If you buy players (Bellamy, Pennant, fowler) who have problems in the past its 99.9% certain they'll let you down again. You never hear of Alonos, Carra, SG, Sami, Garcia etc in trouble do you.

4. This was no lads Friday night out. These are professional athletes, who a few days before our biggest game of the season have gone on a bender. The vast majority have behaved fine but a few dickheads have gone OTT & should be sold off in the summer.

Your very quick to believe The S*n`s sister paper when reporting about Liverpool FC 4 days before a CL game.Maybe you should wait until the FACTS are made Public before you condemn "The Usual suspects",eh??

I would sell any player who attacked another player with a golf club.
Would i sell carra if he got pissed a few days before a big game, no. However, thats because he has no history of doing that. If he did it again, then yes I would sell him.

So do you think the management staff knew they were going on a bender or have the entire playing staff climbed out of thier hotel windows to go on a secret piss up? Sorry to disapoint you but SG can often be seen in certain liverpool nightclubs along with Peter Crouch. These are young men not ****in angels. Some people let thier hair down in different ways. Oh and by the way Kenny Dalglish is ****in teetotal
