Re the "Jermaine Pennant got sent home from training by Bruce for being pissed" stuff above. I read, before Pennant signed for us, that what had happened was that Bruce called all of his players in for an extra training session after a defeat the day before. It was unscheduled, called at the last minute. And Pennant turned up, still worse-for-wear from the night before. More hungover than pissed, and no suggestion he'd broken any club rules. (Although I don't know how he got to training).

i`m with you.A portugese paper and norwegian tv company might be wrong,just maybe,until then i`ll keep faith in our players.

It`s still not on the Sky or BBC websites or channels,such FANTASTIC breaking news would surely be public by now.Wouldn`t both companies have journos at the same hotel(Or nearby).
