    I think the golf club thing has been blown out of all proportion - if indeed it happened at all

    You read books by players who played with us during the 70's & 80's and they say the staff almost "encouraged" training ground bust ups because it created competition and also created a fierce bond on the pitch

    Cant remember who was on the receiving end but Souness broke one of our players jaws in a training ground punch up (think it might have been Alan Kennedy)

    Not in the slightest bit concerned and doubt Rafa is either

              fowler gets a rough time he was reported as being one of the 1st to leave along with stevie and crouch!

                    Jesus wept - it's taken me ages to get this far though the post - anyway, with regards to all the Pennant comments earlier on in the thread - Pennant was in Alma De Cuba on Saturday night, I spotted him and pointed him out to a mate who went over, shook his hand and said hello etc, he said he was "sound" and Pennant spent the night in a quiet corner with a couple of mates. On a other note Franny Jeffers was in there and he thought he was the dogs bollocks.
