    I love Johnny Riise...

    BUT.

    He had a fcuking nightmare last night. Looked slow, unfit, out of shape, cumbersome, overweight, behind the play, generally all over the place like a leper in the bath. He was repeatedly skinned by their right-winger, and managed to gift the ball away countless times. He looks to me as if he might be enjoying the good life a bit too much. Too many late nights taking their toll.

    He's been a superb player for us since joining years ago, and was an integral part of last season's miserly defence, but I doubt Rafa will stand for many performances like last nights, especially with Areola coming back soon.

    Buck up the ideas Johnny Rockets, and get yourself a good woman to sort you out.

    he was definately slow and unfit and off the pace and had a v poor game

    but he didnt look overweight at all

        Johnny did look overweight last night, he had to, the only comment my fcuking mrs made all night was that riise was looking like a right fat c*nt.

          no i don't think he was overweight, he did have a white t shirt on underneath his LFC shirt which might have "bulked him out". He just looked really of the pace, poor first touch and some bad decisions. He needs to get his head down and start working hard, more now than ever as we have really strengthed the left side but I'm sure he is aware of that I'd expect him to raise his fitness

                I'd have to agree about their no.10 - he was very quick and skilful, he had a very good game and I was relieved when he went off.

                  Riise has been great for us ....but he has severe defensive liabilities......and for the guy with the unbeliavable stomach muscles who used to run miles as a kid......looks like he has taken the foot of the gas

                      Agree, I too thought he was pants last night. His hair was too ginger too, not a good look in a red kit. Sort it out Johnny.
