I'd rather nobody said anything about the atmosphere. And we just frighten the living daylights out of them when they get here. They will come to Anfield now expecting a new experience.
...well, if they don't know already there's no hope and they're daft...

        Sir Bobby is a good'n.

If you read what Balague has said about the game on the official (and I posted it on the Barcelona thread) he reckons Barca have underestimated what Anfield will be like.

Which is why we must, must, must still be in the tie after Wednesday. I know it's a cliche, but we (and the noise we make) could be worth a goal in the second leg. Well it worked against Chelsea didn't it?!
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Twelfth man mate - give credit to the other eleven. Anfield's sound is intimidating. It used to be like that for most league games as well.

It worked against Chelsea partly because we got an early goal and this will be a must against Barca to keep the place Buzzin. If we hadn't have scored nervousness in the crowd may well have set in.

Draw in Camp Nou and an early goal at Anfield and we'll be set.

I'm getting nostalgic about the Chelsea game now.

I know a lot of people have claimed to be, but I was actually sat level with the goalline in the Lower Centenary, under the scoreboard.

To my dying day I honestly don't know if Garcia's shot went over the line, but I remember just jumping up and down wildly and believing that it did. In my own little warped mind, the fact that we all believed it was a goal convinced the ref and the linesman that it was.

I like Bobby Robson - he was in charge of the only england squad I wanted to do well in a tournament. I can't believe that the FAI sullied his reputation by hanging him onto Stan the gaffer Staunton.

And for forgetting names he's not half as bad as Jack Charlton was
