    This piece of news is probably after what Rafa said yesterday.

                  I was right last season when i said exactely the same. we started to win games when Rafa picked 2 proper strikers.

                    bear in mind that last season we had morientes and cisse though

                    im not saying your wrong, i believe 4-4-2 is the best formation as does rafa now it seems, at least playing at home anyway

                      Stevie is not a striker. Rafa has almost always picked that 4-4-1-1 formation in friendlies. Im very worried about that.

                        We started to win games when Gerrard was taken out of the link role and Morientes was put in there. As poo as he was, he did it better than Gerrard.

                        All this 2 up front ****e is misguided.

                            Its more than a game...Im still amazed people take that tie like a pre-season friendly game...There is £20M+ at stake in that tie and we might lose Stevie at the end of the season if we dont play the CL.
                            Not playing the CL would be a disaster. Financially and psychologicaly.
