    Goal The Movie

Watched it yesterday and really enjoyed it. Santiago didn't look natural when he was kicking the ball but that aside it was an OK movie.

I cringed when they played Liverpool and they showed Smicer, Baros and Pellagrino (or whatever his name was)

    Gavin Harris = Craig Bellamy

Hope the Ford and Jefferies do well with the next two Goal movies

it's one of the biggest loads of crap ever put on film waist of time and money, an actor thats never touch a football playing one of the best players in the world, the movie is very daft footballing wise, and people that don't know football will know **** all about it when their through with it. that left foot freekick at the made me punch the wall. ffs the boy was right footed and decided to plunk it in first free kick of his life and with the wrong foot...

its just my opinion mate but it's one of the worst movies i have seen

Choose the sword, and you will join me. Choose the ball and you join your mother, in death. You don’t understand my words, but you must choose. So… come boy, choose life or death."

I really enjoyed it but it was funny to see that the cinematography was awful, how they transposed him etc playing into another game. Defo good for a Sunday afternoon movie, cannot wait to see Goal 2.....the birds are fit in it as well !!!

I thought it was OK and was worth watching. Best footy movie to date that doesnt contain violence.

I haven't seen it but I remember they showed on Soccer AM when the two actors ran on the pitch at the end of the Newcastle-Liverpool game to shake hands with the players. Stevie didn't know what was going on!

On top of this, has any one ever seen the Real Madrid Movie they show on ESPN Classic sometimes?

Two hours of the most glorious propaganda you will ever see. Real Madrid are the reason that the world goes round, they help you solve your problems, they bring familes together etc etc.

            I can't stand Real, but it's brilliant.

To be fair the match scenes are quite good, like this one. Mickey O netting against Barca.

Yeh me too mate, always preferred Barca in Spain. If you're a big Spanish football fan I recommed you read the book Morbo by Phillip Ball. Class book.

It will make you hate Real even more if you know all about their history. I've got a good book about Barca as well, can't remember who wrote that though.

Ive read BARCA, a peoples passion by Jimmy Burns.

Still own the book too. Its got forwards by loads of ex and current people associated with Barca.

Lineker talking about Mark Hughes over there actually made me feel sorry for the ex-manc, so it must be a good bloody book!

Talks about how Nunezs failure to give Cruyff the funds for Molby brought about the emergence of one of my fave all-time players - Pep Guardiola. According to Nunez anyhow!

                    Well worth a read.

That's the one mate yeah. Great book, great club. But my admiration for them is on hold for two weeks. Now, where's that Ronaldinho voodoo doll?

All I remember was Dunk hyping it to high heaven and telling us all what a mess Parry had made by not getting us to be a part of it .
