And that`s what everybody in the English speaking world calls it?
They should do in all honesty. After all, when we meet a foreign perosn we don't set about working out their name in English and only calling them that do we?
People always have different names for stadiums anyway. How many people refer to the Boleyn Ground?

I know but Marky called Camp Nou TODAY.I`ve never heard it called that and then twice in one day, curious?
Anyway, Nialls Avatar has Finnan as Limerick`s best,(Marky`s a Derry man)he doesn`t have much competition.Only joking Niall.
If you look at their website, it's called Camp Nou. Don't know why almost everybody calls it Nou Camp.
It´s called Camp Nou in Catalan, which as a language was forbidden during the Franco era. So during that period it was called Nou Camp (which is what it´s called in spanish), and that name has apparently stuck.
I think camp might mean country or ground / pitch in catalan. They also pronounce the nou like noi. I remember our Spanish lecturer calling it Camp Noi all the time when we went on a trip round it.
