Thanjk you.

I'll be watching in a bar down the road from work in New York.
I'm always amazed at how packed these bars get with ex-pats from Ireland & England, considering it's the middle of a work day. I wish I had taken the day off to watch it at home.
Are there really that many reds in New York ?
Do they know their stuff, or are they more general 'soccer' fans...

Me too! On ESPN probably. They have Steve Mcmahon as their pundit. He's not bad. He's no Souness though.
I was going to the pub, but my mate has pulled out cos he's gotta look after his son so we're going for a mega session for the second leg. Got some beers in at home so its me and the telly tonight
I really don't like watching the football in the pub. Its noisy (rarely can you hear the commentary), people get in the way of the screen and spliffs are not allowed.
Give me my sofa, my plasma, a few of my mates and a reefer any day of week.

ha ha ha I'm just getting spliffed up in preparation for the game. Northern Lights for me! And you?

They seem to come out of the woodwork for CL games. Some know their stuff alright, but there's also the "soccer fan" contingent.
I'm going to watch the game with a Jamacian lad who is a Barca fan - he's wearing his ****ing jersey and all. Can't wait to stick it to him when we win 2-1
