Agreed..... and I'm sure we've got plenty of young legs (with our recent buying spate) that could be blooded at some point and do a job against those SMALLER clubs!

As Chelsea have found, it's not always easy to keep two demanding players happy when they're fighting for the same position.
As the four players we have at CM could quite easily command first team places at other top clubs (or in Sissokos case, just decent clubs), it might become a problem.
We shall see.

JM couldnt find a place at West Ham. I bet you Momo will walk into the West Ham side. I also didnt notice any other clubs rushing to sign JM.Originally posted by keniget View PostAs Chelsea have found, it's not always easy to keep two demanding players happy when they're fighting for the same position.

Let JM prove himself in the EPL before we start placing him ahead of Momo in the pecking order
The list of failed South American "stars" in the EPL is a Long one. Not many are able to adapt to different style of play"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"

Erm the list of south Americans is not actually very long, hardly any have ever played in the prem to make a long list.Originally posted by SouthAfricaRed View PostJM couldnt find a place at West Ham. Fwank hasnt signed a renewal. Neither has Terry as far as I can remember. The players are not moaning, but they are not renewing their contracts either. That shows that they are not happy or the contracts are not BIG enough

Starters (if Masher is as good for us as he was for Argentina)
Alonso Masher
Gerrard
With Momo on the bench.
Of course not all 3 will have to play week in week out, we've already seen how much Benitez values rotation. Having Masher, who by all accounts is a combination of Alonso and Momo, gives Rafa his possibiliteeeeeeeeeesI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

The list is very long. Veron, Heinze, Forlan, Tevez, Baptiste are the obvious ones that have all failed to convince or secure 1st team places. The only one currently doing well is Gilberto from ArsenalOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostErm the list of south Americans is not actually very long, hardly any have ever played in the prem to make a long list.
And I didnt even mention one of our South Americans, who I will give at least a season to show what they can do."For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son"

Heinze is very good he has been very unlucky with injuriesOriginally posted by SouthAfricaRed View PostThe list is very long. Forlan was just never that good a player anyway
Tevez has hardly played and is in his first season
Baptiste is in his first season here and has at times looked very good
Veron was played completely out of position and still has a champions medal.
