We have pulled a rabbit out of a hat with that goal. Barca totally dominated and if it wasn't for our back 4 we'd be down by god knows how many.
Carra & his army at the back are playing superbly UNLIKE our mids. Alonso looks lost, MOMO ain't match fit yet & Gerrard has not imposed himself on the game. Upfront Kuyt has worked his socks off & a nice tackle on POOF boy Puyol.
I said 2-2 on MR MIKE's preddy game, I stand by that.

They really are shocking at the back.
Pretty much first ball crossed high from wing and they're bumping into each other!

All other balls have been up and at ems from back or centre of pitch, if we can get ball out to cross from right or left I'd fancy us to go close or score again.

They're polar opposites from front to back, so at same time, think we'll do really really well to stop them scoring second half.

Good assessment. However I think Barca now will be very nervous. All their doubts will come back. Liverpool's first proper attack and they score.

I think Rafa has to read some of our players the riot act at half time, especially the midfield. They aren't getting tight enough to the Barca players.

Yeah, riise seems to have lost anything he had this season, positional play, everything, he's wandering around not knowing what's going on most of the time.
