Surely if you've spent all that money to go to Barcelona, watched the Reds achieve an amazing result against the odds you wouldn't want to waste your time celebrating and getting as pissed as a Pennant. You'd much rather find an internet cafe and log in here instead...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

Quite - but it wouldn't be normal if some smart arse's couldn't find time to stick their 2p in in the meantime.

From the comfort of your armchair, no doubt. Well done.

                Hehehe.

My brother did ring and he said there was quite a bit of trouble where he was after the 2nd goal, he was in the Barca end. Was off to get drunken.

Did it rain at the match you were at?

Looked pretty good to me - from the comfort of my armchair! Dammit!

Lasty won't be home til tonight. I got a text after 45 minutes saying the game was dire but at least we'd scored. Nothing after that
                            I live with Steptoe.

Got home yesterday afternoon and it was a great trip. Didn't feel that good on the day of the game - must have been a bad pint the night before and I still have a sore throat and am dog tired because some idiots kept me awake in my hostel the night of the game. I got to bed at 2.30am and had to be up at 6am. I returned the favour by banging on their door as I left - the bloke's face was a picture as I bade him Buenos Dias at stupid o'clock in the morning.

All in all it was a magical experience, every Red I met and chatted were great people and we managed to avoid what little trouble there was. Will stay with me for many a year.
