He's an odd bloke, bellamy. he's obviously a knobhead with his off the field antics but somehow you can't help but like him. He doesn't seem to take the whole thing too seriously when he's interviewed. you sense he's always biting his tongue, as if he is desparate to say what he really thinks but knows he can't.

He's one of those players who you think is funny when he plays for you but everyone else thinks he's a complete arse.

To whether he stays or goes? couldn't care less, on his day he is very good but he is also easily replaceable.

I think this is deserving of a seperate thread, well what can i say about this fiery little Welshman after his performance tonight?

Just one game i know but after the week he's just had, that took a lot of balls to perform the way he did in a stage such as the Nou Camp against the reigning European Champions, he was a constant threat, he worked his balls off, he got us a goal and he tee-ed Riise up quite wonderfully.
Anyone notice he said 'I take the ROUGH with the Smooth' after the match?

Whilst we'll never know what did or didn't happen, its quite clear something went on between Bellamy & JAR. Whilst the media may have blown the whole thing up a bit, if he had of behaved himself, theres nothing for the media to exaggerate is there.

I understand what you are saying but if he had a few words with Riise and someone reported back to the papers they will make anything out of it. It doesn't mean he did anything. There is a bloke where I work who used to be a journo at the NOTW and he told me they will lie about anything to make a story - absolutely anything. The chances of being sued for something like this and the low return that someone would get for a comment like this make it worth their while to spout all the **** they like.

On the balance of probabilities I would say that he is probably a knobhead but it would have made me sick to my guts to see him kowtowing to the sky mob and apologising. **** them all - he was right to have a go at them.

Anyone who's been on rugby/football tours knows that **** kicks off, but you almost always build morale off the back of it.

Something kicked off last week, but Bellers/Riise have kissed and made up, were presumably astonished by the press attention, and raised their game to score a goal each

Basically all a storm in a tea cup

Not only did they combine for a goal, but in the first 5 minutes Riise nearly set up Bellamy
