Hang on, wasn't there an article the other day saying they wanted Gerrard in a swap? If its true (which it isn't imo), well at least they're getting a bit more realistic....

Different topic I guess but this talk got me thinking about Tevez. I wonder if Rafa has thought about, or is seriously contemplating signing him up? It must have crossed his mind and we have done a good deal with MSI with Masher already so the links are there.
I think Tevez would flourish under Rafa playing with Masher, Gerrard, Garcia and Kuyt/Crouch etc. West Ham wont put up much of fight either since they have Harewood
and Sherinham
on their books plus MSI seemed to be in the driving seat with Masher.
I think a summer move is on the cards.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Tribalfootball.com is like... it's like... Well... Have any of you seen Southpark's episode "Cartoon wars"? In the second part where those dolphins (or whatever they are) pick those balls for a Family guy scenario... That's the same way triballfootball.com pick news.
And speaking of their news, Rafa would be considered idiot of the century if he'd agree a deal like that... Ans as for Trezeguet... He's a ******.Torres Fan Club Member #2, Lucas Leiva Fan Club Member #1

He has been linked with us from time to time in the last year.Originally posted by The_Milkman View PostWho is Mata ?
Real Madrid youngster?Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Some good points made there Greg.Originally posted by greglt View PostI would prefer to have Huntelaar, Tevez, Villa, Torres or Eto's personally. Trezeguet is a great player but he is 30 this year....I am assuming that Rafa wants 4 strikers at the club Kuyt and Voronin seem pretty sure and then you have to assume one more world class striker and either Crouch or Bellamy (although I could quite possibly see both of these being sold) I think it would be a big disappointment to lose Crouch. He is an English international and troubles defences.....never going to be world class but I like him alot.
I'd be gobsmacked if Rafa got rid of Bellamy in the summer, I really would, which suggests if we were looking to four strikers next season it would be Kuyt, Bellamy, Voronin and A.N. Other who will probably be a big money buy.
I think we all expect Robbie to leave in the summer and Crouch will also probably move on so we can buy that elusive goal scorer we've needed since Owen deserted us.
Trezeguet is not the long term solution though.
