    Crouch Injury Update?

On the Setanta feed here in the US, we didn't really get an injury update on Crouch (or, I may have missed it). It looked to me like a broken nose when he was being stretchered off, plus a nice gash on the brow line. My guess is stiches and a broken nose, but I haven't seen any update?

    Crouch Injury Latest

Rafael Benitez has revealed that Peter Crouch was forced to leave the field against Sheffield United because the striker had broken his nose.

Crouch sustained the injury when he jumped for a ball from the corner and was caught by a high boot and had to be replaced by Dirk Kuyt.

"Crouch has a broken nose and needed stitches but it's not serious," said Benitez.

"He is okay and I was talking to him after the game."

That's not going to help him in the looks department is it?

On the way home from the game Rafa came on the radio to talk about Crouch.

                      He looked a touch lost.

toughing a bit more on this subject, why wasn't the dick head who kicked him in the face at least booked, sure Crouchy brought his head down but it was a high foot

Not to mention how high Crouchy's head is anyway

I was astonished that the ref seemed to completely dismiss the challenge it was appalling really
