    Neil Warnock's interview...

What a confused, mad little chatterbox this fella is.

Scroll down the page for the audio interview...

"If Steve Bennett knew a bit more about the game and not the rules inside out, he'd be a really top referee. He's a manufactured referee.
"The England captain Steven Gerrard is looking at Bennett and saying 'you've got to give a penalty'.

"The first penalty knocked the stuffing out of us."

Surely the ref should know the rules first and foremost? And if his team get the stuffing knocked out of them after conceding one goal then perhaps he should try and get them to work harder and not give up to easily. Saying that though, that's probably the reason that they're at the bottom of the table.

    He's a sad bitter little man. I hate the C U N T with a passion.

Snap, ever since that cup match of 3 or 4 years ago, whinging, whining turdbag of the highest order, and hardly ever gives an interview of "just the opposition were better", always has to get excuses in, rather than just quality of football.

There are some here that like him, amazingly enough, which I have yet to fathom out why.

          I think he's great.

To be fair, most of that interview is about right. The penalty decisions were at the far end from me so I haven't a clue about either of them (although the 2nd one looked clear), but he's right about Tonge's booking. It was ridiculous.

Bennett, who I think is a proper **** ref, last took us at Anfield, I think, against Arsenal in the FA Cup and he booked Alonso for diving for what looked to me a clear penalty.

It's not his attitude I don't like about him, that's one of the things I do like about him, it's his insistance that anything given against them is an injustice that I don't like. He never faces the truth and admits that his team were simply awful.

I never had a decent view of the first one but the second one looked like a clear cut penalty. If he hadn't pulled Stevie down it would've been 2-0 there and then.

Because he's a passionate supporter in charge of the team he loves, he's honest, down to earth, a bit mad and his interviews are usually entertaining.

He also loves us, idolises Shanks and always speaks highly of our club. Have you not heard his description of his night at home watching the Istanbul final? It's top class. Said he went absolutely WILD and tore around his house cheering, out the front door, onto the street and back in again.

I disagree mate. He said he had no complaints about the 4-0 and was happy to keep the score down. If you or I, or any Red on here, or anywhere for that matter, were LFC manager we'd be the same. He's having a bit of a whinge but for all I know he might have a point about the 1st pen.

Well he either tells two stories or you're wrong!

The story I heard was that he was on holiday whilst watching the match. He was cheering us on though.

Okay then he tore around wherever he was, went outside and ran back in again.

                        He definitely digs us though.

                          So what?

One mans wine is another mans vinegar I suppose.

He's a football man yes, but christ almighty, he gives a **** interview when his team has lost, respect is earned, not given, when you have nothing decent to say about your own team, keep your fukkin gob shut about other matters.

I'm not sure about the first one ether but the second one was nailed on IMHO.

I used to hate him. My old man ****ing detests him, from years and years ago. But I saw a documentary about him, imaginatively titled 'Warnock', and it totally transformed my opinion of him. A great bloke and a real football man.
