Dalglish is the obvious choice but I used to idolise the team who won the 1981 Europeean Cup and still do so:

Liverpool: Ray Clemence, Phil Neal, Alan Kennedy, Phil Thompson (c), Ray Kennedy, Alan Hansen, Kenny Dalglish (Jimmy Case, 85), Sammy Lee, David Johnson, Terry McDermott, Graeme Souness.

Since then Molby, Robbie, Gerrard, Sami, Babbel and Gary Macca deserve a special mention.

Would have to say Gerrard, Owen, Carra, and Alonso.

I'm not fortunate to at least have early 90's memories

Joey Jones was my first hero so I maintain a soft spot for him.

But it has to be Dalglish. And of course Shanks.

Looking back, I've been lucky to have so many footballers that played for us that thinking of them brings a smile to the face.

I could ream off countless names of players who'd be all time heroes at any other club. We are inundated with legends, are we not.
