I think Rafa has showed that he prefers Steve to not play in a two man midfield.
I think he is much more effective as an attacker behind two strikers in formations like:

...Momo.Alonso.Kallström

or

.......Carra.Hyypia.Agger

I know this has been done to bits but I think Steves attacking abilities are to a degree wasted with him in a two man midfield and Rafas reign has indicated that he thinks so to.

Hes not good enough and his general demeanour isnt exactly endearing either. heard anderson is back on form in the reserves and think it would be good to see if hes got what it takes next season.....

Alves would be nice next year - although hes probably more like 15 million after another good season....

not much - bits and pieces for seville on sky over a couple of years - he looks like a quality player. But it would be in midfield hed play?? finnan is too consistent at the minute - but i suppose hes not getting any younger.

If Sevilla only want £15m for Alves then he will be playing for us next season. I guess that he will cost around £20m and that Rafa still will sign him.

I would doubt that seriously. 20 million for a right back? we were talking between 8 and 10 at the end of last year cant see him being worth 20?

i think 12-15 is a more likely figure.....
