The first two games are vitally important for different reasons.

The games against Villa and Arsenal are almost irrelevant.

Does it matter whether we finish 3rd or 4th ? No, not really.

Ideally we would win all four. The games importance would go in this order:

1. Barca 2. Man Utd 3. Arsenal 4. Villa.

Id love us to come 3rd as would every other red, we want to finish as high as possible and as close as possible to the top team. A big points difference between us and 1st doesn t help for confidence next year.

But I wouldnt lose any sleep over us coming 4th thats for sure.

He`s English so double any normal asking price,i`d say 8-10 mil.

There's a lot more money in the premiership next year, so no team has to sell to get funds in, so players values will rise accordingly.

What used to be a £5M player, will be prob 50% more?, so Lennon will be over £10M easily, prob closer to £15M.

Week in, week out, is he that much better than Pennant that we can afford that amount, value for money, we could try a swap deal plus cash I suppose, or are we better off now just looking and focusing on the younger players and foreign players, much cheaper and most prove to be better, excepting the majority of strikers!
