They just seem so close to clicking into real form - and the win at the weekend would have done their confidence and team spirit some good.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostI havent. 90% of us expected to be losing to Barca at this stage so we are already in an unexpected position. The majority of that % also said that we had a great chance of turning it around at Anfield, so why the negative thoughts now?
I know we are also hitting real form, but I just have this horrible feeling about the game - God I hope I am wrong!"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

From pride's point of view, I want us to win. From the viewpoint of where I want this year's league title to go, I'm fervently hoping we at least get a draw and then Chelski beat them at Stamford Bridge to turn the heat up on them in the last few weeks.
If they take all three points from Anfield it'll be a travesty, doubly so if they do it in anything like the manner the poxy *******s won at Fulham last weekend.
It's on a real knife-edge this game, as always. Does anyone think they'll come looking for all three points, or arrive set up for a draw with any sort of a win achieved on the break/against run of play being a total bonus? That'd be sickening although I agree with the poster above, we really owe the ****ers one after they nicked it with that Ferdinand goal last season when the game was for all intents and purposes a 0-0 draw all over if ever there was one.

Looking at the bigger picture, what woudl you prefer:
A loss to Manu in the league.
Losing to Barca and going out of the CL.
Horrible choice, but in the end easy for me. I prefer to continue our run towards number 6. That is the only thing we can win.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

Which means we'll lose to ManU, but trounce Barca.......Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostI can see us winning on Saturday.
But I've got a nasty feeling about the Barca game.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Actually, I predicted a 2-1 win in Spain and was confident about that game.

I'm allways afraid when we play ManUre... Well, not afraid but... Hm... Nervous as f*ck! To me (as an OOT), this is the most important match every season (no one supports Blue****e in my country anyways) and therefore, I bit my nails (even toe ones) quite a lot!
When we lost to scum earlier in the season, it was one of the worst weeks in me life. I expected so much and our players totally underperormed, so I felt betrayed a bit - also fcukin Mancunians in my area were getting on me goddamn nerves for a month or two.
Now, I'm still biting my nails over this one. Maybe it's because we haven't beaten Manchester with more than one goal (=comfortably) in quite a long time (last year in the FA Cup I was even more nervous when we were leading 1-nil than before the match)...
Still think we'll win it... I just hope none of our key players will get injured!
Come on you Reds!
