I do not think the atmosphere can be as loud as chelsea as it totally killed peoples voices and it was a must win game and the chance to show the world just how good we are
Id rather bleed with cuts of love then live without any scars

Obviously hope it is as even on telly you could there was a deafening wall of noise within Anfield but i'm worried about next tuesday as i hope it isn't watered down cos we are 2-1 up from the 1st leg whereas the Chelsea game, we drew 0-0 in the 1st leg hence all was to play for, same with this one obviously but i just hope the attenders at anfield next week will realise this tie is far from over and in doing so maybe staying a bit more subdued
      if you like.

If it is an atmosphere like the Chelsea game a few years ago, the Barcelona players will not know what's hit em and it will definetely spur the lads on.
I don't think you can ever conscioulsy try to re-create an atmosphere and you can wait a generation to for something like that to come along again. It took 28 years for me to experience the same sort of atmosphere as the St Etienne game and it was worth the wait. That tie was exceptional but Olympiakos and Juve weren't bad either. Would imagine it will be more like those games than Chelsea. I'll be singing myself hoarse.

You cant predict an atmosphere anyway. Barca could come out and score 3 then we could see no atmosphere or it could go the other way and we get one of the best atmospheres ever and inspire the team to come back from the dead.

Yeah i realise the atmosphere probably wont EVER match that of the Chelsea game a few years but i just hope the fans attended the game adopt the we're in the Quarters already attitude.
I'm sure they won't and it'll be cracking atmosphere.

Barca will be special though, very special.
MY voice was gone for two of three weeks after lol.
In the Albert hours before the game singing and then after the match again before heading into town for some more singing. More of the same this time again i think.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
