    I just realised.

When we win number 19 All the little children in Asia and South America and all over the world are gonna be watching Steven Gerrard lift the trophy and listening to the commentators on Sky say:

And Liverpool Football Club win the English Premier League for the first time.

I know the truth will soon be discovered by all those children, but it is still gonna suck.

It's sickening and infuriating, isn't it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I had a dream last night that we won the league at the last ever game played at Anfield.

The fans all refused to leave and were singing and chanting long into the night inside the ground.

Bizarrely enough Patrick Berger scored the winner for us!

I've weighed this over in my head for the past several minutes, and, upon reflection, I think I'll take the title anyways

Lets just get to no 19 and we can address that when it inevitably arrives.

I was thinking that when the time comes there should be like a sea of cups in the stands with 19 on them and the commentators could not ignore it.

That's a great idea - let the sly sports crew be under no illusions - THIS IS OUR 19th LEAGUE TITLE. Interestingly enough the official premier league website lists us on 18 league titles and the mancs on 15 league titles making no distinction between pre-92 and post-92 titles which surprised me - but a welcome surprise.

Yes, but if the commentator is awake that day and desirous of advancement and a place in the annals (and they all want that) he will elaborate his speech along the following lines...

"And Liverpool, the most successful football club in the most relentlessly competitive, league in the football world, win the English Premier League for the first time. But that is to belittle this magnificent achievement, for as everyone must know, this great club has already won 18 league championships. No-one else comes close. And that's in addition to their 5/6 European Championships etc"

What an end to life at Anfield that would be.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

as someone who has lived in south east asia for the past 3 years and who works at the broadcaster who brings the english premier league to Asia all i can say is its patronising your view is about some of the most passionate, one eyed and obsessed red fans i have had the pleasure to meet and interact with.

Don't be deceived; there is no getting away from Liverpool's history in this part of the world (partly because ESPN and our chief pundit Steve Mcmahon are happy to bang on about how long its been to get some reaction from those who subscribe to our channel- approx 270million homes across asia at last count)

if you're in asia and missed it, we just did a half hour interview special with Robbie so look out for the repeats. John Dykes and macca are in the Uk now to cover the man u and barca games from anfield and at the same time interviewing stevie g for a special on him too

(and please watch Kick Off as that's the recent show i produced- started this week)
"At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques"
