    Is the ref for Saturday

    Is it true that we've never won a live game that he's reffed? Or is it any game against United/Chelsea/Arsenal that he's reffed? It's some kind of game that he's reffed that we've never won apparently, remember reading it somewhere.

      Fairly irrelevant in my opinion. All the refs are as good/bad as each other. If we score more goals than them, we'll win.

        You never can be sure about that with Poll on the pitch
        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                The rumour is that he can pick the games he want so I'm not surprised.
                Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                  I was shocked to find that our record with Poll vs. the scum is won 3, lost 4 and drew 1.

                  At Anfield it is won 3, lost 1.

                  So the odds are good.

                  I could only find 8 games though. Through 1995, not counting the two games in 1997. Maybe he reffed more in his early days??

                            One man i didnt want for this game is this posing, preening **** who plays up for the cameras and wants to be the star of the show.

                              Better him than Riley.

                              Prefer to see Clattenburg to be honest. He's the best we have IMO.
