A clutch of big names are chasing Scarborough starlet Ged Dalton.
The 16-year-old has broken into the Boro first team this season and has caught the eye with a string of impressive displays.
Liverpool, Blackburn and Birmingham all sent scouts to make a check on the midfielder during weekend's clash with Hyde United.
Scarborough coach Mark Patterson is not surprised by the interest in Dalton.
He said: "Ged's name is very hot at the moment. You will get scouts coming to watch any in-form young player because names are passed around very quickly.
"We had one or two down for our game against Hyde and I'm sure a few more will come down in the future.
"It was a tough game for him against an experienced full-back. He battled well but he has played better.
"I think he will progress over the next few seasons, but we'll have to see how things go.
"He is a player we would love to keep hold of because he does have plenty of ability about him.
"He possibly isn't suited to this level of football yet because of his size, but what he lacks in strength he certainly makes up for in quality and he is a tremendous prospect."
