Reading interviews with a lot of the young players that come in a couple have mentioned zenden as being the first guy that introduces himself and makes people feel at home. It just maybe that hes a thoroughly nice chap that speaks a fair few languages and has put himself at the forefront of a new players mind.

Whoever thought this means alonso is leaving is clearly very paranoid and has too much time on their hands.

He's always the first to introduce himself because he's at Melwood having treatment while the rest of the lads (well except Kewell) are training/on a day off.
