"this" season he hasn't been brilliant - but who has??! he's given us years of quality and has been regarded amongst the best attacking full backs in the world. On the other hand, bellamy has always been a little prick who has caused trouble and disrupted harmony wherever he's played. How can you justify sticking up for some little cretin who has performed averagely for 6 months over an anfield hero who has been low-maintenance, yet given us countless moments of glory? some people seem to base all their opinions on the last 3 months - liverpool have been around for longer than that!

Exactly - don't attack a long standing team member with a golf club and try to play it down!
he could have at least put his hands up (i'm sure he's used to that!) and admitted what everyone knows - he's a grade A prick living on borrowed time. He makes heskey seem popular! at least ivanhoe's only shortfallings where in terms of skill - with bellamy, you name it - he lacks it!

Well ok I'll admit to perhaps being a bit harsh on Riise there and taking the short term view, but I think Bellamy has done ok. Maybe not as well as I'd hoped at the start of the season but same could be said for the whole team.

fair play to ya; and my point exactly - no one has been much above average this season which is why i find it hard to take Riise's recent criticism with much more than a pinch of salt.

What do "I" give the forum?? Admittedly, "you" seem to have more time on your hands and therefore "contribute" far more in volume......but as I'm sure you're used to hearing on a regular basis - size doesn't matter - it's the quality that counts.
