    Starting XI and Match thread.

Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy will lead the Liverpool attack in today's Premiership clash with Manchester United at Anfield after Rafa Benitez kept his word and named a strong side despite an impending Champions League return against Barcelona.
Reds Captain Steven Gerrard will continue on the right side of the midfield with Momo Sissoko and Xabi Alonso in the middle and Mark Gonzalez on the left.

Liverpool - Reina, Finnan, Riise, Carragher, Agger, Gerrard, Alonso, Sissoko, Gonzalez, Kuyt, Bellamy. Subs - Dudek, Hyypia, Aurelio, Crouch, Pennant.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Always good to see the old Gerrard on the right debate starting already on Sky with Gray, Keys etc

I don't think he will be.

I reckon it'll line up as a five man midfield, with Kuyt on the right

Can't see it that way mate ... Kuyt on the right will bring us no width.

Gerrard or Kuyt on the right and Gerrard or Kuyt behind Bellamy?

Interesting thought, we shall see how it lines up.

I'm bored of the hairy genital and Gray dragging this debate up at every opportunty, I don't care where Gerrard plays, he'll do the business anyway

There is a suggestion on Manure forums that it has all kicked off o/s the ground and the Memorial has been damaged.

I hope not, especially hope the memorial was not touched.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

If Rafa plays a 5 man midfield then it would be Bellamy on the right surely??
