You would think that they had played us off the park and kept putting us under pressure until they finally got the breakthrough with statements like that.

The fact of the matter is though that Richard Keyes does not know the first thing about football. He's a presenter first and foremost and has friends in high places at Sky hence his continued association with the network.

He relies solely on his "expert" colleagues to guide him through the match and tell him why goals were dissallowed, why a player was booked etc... etc... When he has to talk for himself though he makes really stupid and uneducated statements like this.
