So we should sack him because he can't beat Man Utd?

Never mind the two major trophies he won in his first two seasons.

I think we have greatly improved in the league under Rafa, unfortunately Chelsea and Man U have improved more. Last season was a superb points haul good enough to win it in several previous years. Where we havent improved is in the big games against the other top 3 teams as the stats show. Unfortunately i think Rafas bogey team is the mancs.

Hmmmmmmm............I think sometimes you just have to accept that football is a ******* of a game when yesterday happens. Different when we beat them at home in the last minute (Danny Murphy anyone?). Then were all heros...its why the game is so great, it can give you every emotion under the sun. **** happens, deal with it.

Martin O'niell..........a shiver runs downs steves spine as memories of three years ago hit home!!!!

AA doesn't listen to rationale Kurt. He spouted that **** about not progressing in the league a few weeks ago. When I pointed out points tallies in his reign against GH's last 3 yars he didn't have the balls to acknowledge. He shouts his gob off until someone points out fact and then he shuts up.

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                          That's bollocks mate.

Points tallies are all relative, league position is a much more accurate measure of progression.

                          In Rafa's three seasons, we've finished 5th, 3rd and now 4th (probably).

Where did we finish in Houllier's last three seasons ? 2nd, 5th and 4th ?

I'm sorry, but IN THE LEAGUE, I cant see where the improvement is...

Actually the thing that's cost us a decent shot at the title is inconsitent league form since Christmas, not just the bad start. Had we taken our chances and beaten BBurn, Newcastle, Everton And Utd (As we should have done) that 1 point would have been 12 more points (65) with the MAncs on 69. Even if we'd only won 3 of those 4 we'd be right in with a title shout.
