He can take people on, shoot, dribble. win free kicks and cross a decent ball.

I have no idea.

Keep hearing the same big names banded about, mostly foreign. All I know is that we need more goals and creativity in the side, and tactically we need to play with more attacking freedom, which is down to Rafa.

It's tempting to say just sign Samuel Eto'o for £30m, Alves for £15m etc, etc and we're sorted, but just remember that plenty of players - with excellent reputations and records in most cases both - from other European leagues have come over here for big money and not cut it, a few off the top of my head: Cisse, Morientes, Shevchenko, Veron, Diouf, Rebrov and there's plenty more.

I have a school of thought that if we want to win the league we should try and buy players who are of proven quality in the Premiership. Like Anelka, Aaron Lennon, Micah Richards, Leighton Baines with perhaps the odd top foreign player to put us over the top. But as we know, foreign or homegrown nothing is guaranteed.

I have faith that Rafa will get it right though.

I think, the team is important. If we buy 4-5 big time players, we could end up with 4-5 big time egos, which could upset the morale of our team (look at West Ham)

Better off trusting in Reina/Carson for Gk. Defenders - JC with Agger and Finnan with the emergence of perhaps Areloba (CB/Right Back). We really need either Bale or Baines or any good LB.
Midfield - not to mess with CM - and SG is the best AM around - what we need is two wingers (goal scoring) - perhaps Alves with another.

Strikers - is an issue - it has been for 3+ years(after Owen left). Any way you cut it Crouch,Kuyt, Bellamy and Voronin isnt going to win the league. Whether you need one or two strikers, you definitely need a cutting edge - someone to win games when your playing rubbish and finish off your opponents when your on-top

My choice would be Eto - the top of the goalscoring charts are fully of powerful (African) strikers - exploding the myth they cant settle/perform in the EPL

Bent, Ashton et al are good - but no better than Bellamy or Crouch
