I think he'll be backed in the summer. This will be Gillette and Hicks first summer if their takeover goes through. They'll want to splash the cash in the first summer, to get the fans in the right frame of mind. I've no concerns that Rafa won't be backed IF the takeover goes through.
Therefore, even if Real come knocking, I don't think he'll leave, Real is one of those jobs you take when you've already achieved a lot of your goals in my opinion. Rafa will always have the opportunity to take that job, they change managers very frequently. LFC is starting to set itself up to being back to dominating again, I'm sure rafa wants to be a part of that.
