    Master tactician

Why did Rafa choose Arbeloa to play at left back against Barcelona, a position he had never played before?

"I was pleased to keep Messi quiet but it wasn't just down to me, it was down to all my teammates too. The manager was spot on too, because he told me that Messi would try and cut inside me at every opportunity – and head straight onto my stronger right foot."
"The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

That implies he's got two right feet. Weird.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

no it doesnt. if messi is coming down the wing and cuts inside then he's heading towards his right foot.

Doesn't he have his right foot with him when the game starts?
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

To be fair it doesn't strictly imply that. One could infer from it that that was the case.

This however does imply that Xabi_is_God is Kurtangle's duplicate id....

However, don't you think the "stronger" qualifies the "right" unless there is a comma between them?

Of course we could do with getting the opinion of an interested and experienced third party but that's the trouble with this site, there just aren't enough pedants about.

To be fair he made his debjut for Real at left midfield, so he is clearly a very versatile footballer anyway. For example I would never put Riise at right back just because Ronaldinho likes to cut inside.
