Thanjk you.

When I was at that game in Istanbul, everybody at work was invited by L&G to a 'do' at the very posh Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester. It was a three-course meal, a free bar and the match on big screens with Robbie Earle as compere.
Apparently at half time he was slagging us off (most of the people there were freeloading Mancs) saying we had no chance but, being honest, we all thought the same. One of our guys, a Man Citeh fan who'd enjoyed more than his fair share of the free bar, went up to Earle after the match and told him what a ****** he was!!
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.
i have to watch these matches on itv as i don't have sky or rte but the punditry is poor. surely they can get some pundits in that have actually played in the european cup! david pleat is a joke aswel can't stand him!
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.

David Pleat's problem is that in his life so far he has failed to complete a full, coherent sentence. His analysis is usually pretty good.
David Platt however is a knobjob.
I think ITV, Townsend, Earle and Ryder are all deserving of each other.
Pleat is the best summariser/analyst out there, along with Graham Taylor. They both understand the game and don't just state the bleedin' obvious..."Yes, he's crossed it in, and he's met it at the far post and nodded it in".
They offer insightful tactical analysis. They may both be deeply 'unfashionable' (can you have uncool co-commentators? ) and stutter incoherently at times, but they're a cut above the rest.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
