I think all of Rafa's substitutions were perfect. I don't think Stevie would have been defending back where Pennant was anyway.

Even now I still don't understand that decision. Maybe the idea was right but Pennant just didn't get into the game. In fact he could still be there now by himself and he still wouldn't impose himself.

As soon as Pennant came on and we changed shape we fell to pieces. I'm not saying I hate him or he's **** and should never play again etc etc it's just tonight he was below what we needed tonight but luckily we got through

What can we do about this? it's been a problem all season but a characteristic of rafa's teams.....just showed how heavily we relied on SG's goals last year
