We showed tonight and on Saturday that we're a match for anyonein Europe. We just lack that striker with a ruthless streak and the ability to score from half a chance. When we get that player,hopefully in the summer, we'll be right in the mix next season.

I hope Eto'o was suitably impressed tonight. I cannot believe for one minute we'll sign him, but we can dream.

If tonight did not impress him (atmosphere etc) then he is in fooball for the wrong reasons!!

I agree. I'd love it, absolutely love it, if we signed him. He's the missing piece in our jigsaw. I doubt it'll happen but we can dream.

He can't help but have been impressed tonight because the atmosphere was superb and the mighty reds played some good stuff.

Rafa has this rash tendency to be neagative in certain matches with subsitutions but he is one of the worlds best coaches and i for have great time for him.

He conducts himself with great honour and dignity and respects Liverpool football club and acts the way any top class manager should.

He have many great years under Rafa!! Amen brother Rafa

Can we get them in this round? I thought that we'd be kept back until the semis? How good would it be to have us, the filth, arse and the chavs in the last 4?!

I think the draw is wide open and we can draw anybody now.

We've just knocked out the champions, who are arguably the best side in the world, and we've beaten them by turning them over at their place, and finishing the job at home.
We have no-one to be afraid of in this competition, we can beat anyone, in 2005 we had some luck i agree but it was minimal and you dont win the CL by luck alone.
I genuinely think we can go all the way this year, we have nobody to fear and i bet the other clubs in the competition dont fancy pulling us out of the hat.

I watched the game with a Barca fan who had no qualms about the fact we won (and the only way they could score was from an offisde goal)

As REDSCOUSER says - noone will fancy playing us now
