its a football match not a photo op imo

but i am a bit old fashioned like that. and i am not scouse so this is not a rant about OOTers or daytrippers.

When my dad took me to the game we didn't need to take pictures of it
Got to agree during a match can't see why anyone would want to video it rather than see and participate, its not like they can't record it what with sky and the likes.

I've Seen some people with a mobile phone record the whole match. Nothing like watch it live on a 3inch screen

The odd picture i can understand but most of the match or key moments baffles me defeats the obect of being there live.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

It's so they can brag to their mates down the George & Dragon in Cirencester that they were there...

Usually those who are sitting close(r) to the pitch take pictures...

            Agree.
I haven't done that myself either.
I am too busy watching the game and soaking up the atmosphere.

We were too concerned about ricketts, TB and scurvy in those days to worry about taking pictures!

and it was only 2 and 6 for a fish supper (?). and you could leave your front door open

It's big but they don't sing like we do. It's too big to get songs going. Last time I went, 90,000 of 'em all started waving white hankies to indicate their "surrender". It was fricken 0-0, with 10 minutes to go!

They're not the most patient, or the most vociferous. Great roar when they score, but otherwise it's fairly quiet - they'll have been blown away by last night.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
