"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."
I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

A quick survey of this site would be enough to tell you he'd be hard pushed to find any...Originally posted by EST_1892 View PostAnd then in Merson's so called 'Apology', he says "I apologise to all the Scousers"!!!

A group of us met Merson years ago in a pub in Covent Garden, when he was still at Arsenal and only recently gone public and got himself off the turps.
He was with Winterburn who was slamming pints of Guiness down his neck like there was no tomorrow.
Have to say he was spot on, talked with us for ages and took the abuse he got very well, even said how much he loved playing at Anfield.
It was around the time Bergkamp and Platt signed and he said that some of the things Bergkamp was doing in training were out of this world. fair to say he was less than complimentary about Platt though, i seem to remember a line about "Sunday League Player"
Nevertheless, he's wank as a pundit.
