    Sami's replacement = PSV's Alex + Hamstring Injury

i know we have enough CBs at the moment but i thought Alex from PSV was awesome last night against the gooners.

He looks as if he will do well in the Prem & i think he will be an ideal replacement for the legend Sami Hyypia.

    What about Daniel Agger?

    Just a thought.
    Oh I don't know.

Typically he has been linked with Chelsea this morning.

FFS, Agger is Sami's replacement and Palletta Carra's ... Alex is a Chelsea player.

Koeman said he's going to Chelsea

He IS owned by Chelsea already. He just couldn't get a passport to play in England, that's why he's been loaned out to PSV ... Or some arrangement similar to that.

Wasn't aware of that. I just know Chelsea have some sort of link up with PSV though.

Thought he was PSV's best player against us too

As has been said already I think Chelsea have a deal in place to buy him once he gets his years in at PSV.

He couldn't come straight to Chelsea at the time due to work permit problems and had to 'work' in Europe first before having his move to them.

He looks a solid centre back with qualities that will help him do well over here - shame they've snapped him up already!

We now have Agger though who looks to be the real deal alongside Carra, and I fully expect these two to be the main pairing for us for the next 5 years.

It was mentioned in January that Arnesen likes Alex (which was repeated in the press today) but Mourinho is not so keen. He may be a piece in the power struggle at Stamford Bridge or it may just have been paper talk and the failure to bring him in during the transfer window was just because of his passport difficulties.

The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

When we played them I thought Bellamy run him ragged for the 1st 10 mins - then he sussed his game out and had him in his pocket for the rest of the match. Good solid player who will do well in the Prem.

You need 3 quality CB's & Alex would be a good addition to the squad

Man of the match by a mile. He did score both goals after all.

Aussie TV said he looked like a bit of a fat *******. Good header for the goal though, had Lehmann flapping away like a morris dancer's hanky.

Not fussed about having him at Liverpool though which I suppose is a good thing if it's nailed on he's going to Chelsea.
