Which fixtures do we have coming up before the next CL round? I think Rafa needs to play Mascherano alongside Alonso until then to help Mascher to get used to our style. Could be interesing, he doesn´t cover as much ground as Momo but he keeps the ball better so the team could improve a bit if he settles in nicely.

We've got Villa away and then Arsenal at home before our quarter final match.

I think Masher needs to play alongside Xabi in both those games.

Maybe we will play Stevie in the middle and Pennant on the right? Depends on who we draw and if its a home or away game really.

Momo is banned for the first leg anyway so he's either going to have to get some more minutes for Mash or Pennant (Wont please the lynch mob) with Gerrard back in the middle.

I think Rafa will start with Mascher against Villa and Momo against Arsenal. But I´d like to see Gerrard on the right in the CL, I don´t care against whom, the team is better and more solid with him on the right.

I'm sure Mascherano will get game time between now and the QF.

As has been said though, I'd rather see Gerrard and Alonso in the middle for the first leg with possibly Bellamy, Kuyt and Crouch also playing - Bellamy out wide, especially if we're at home first!
