and that is the only thing that can stop us beating them IMO.Originally posted by bazza76 View Postthat kind of attitude could be our downfall.
We have the better team, play the second leg at Anfield and have Rafa as our manager.
I know that we should be humble in victory and never boast about us being the much better team and so on but I can't see them trouble us at all.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

My sentiments entirely.Originally posted by PTP View Postgreat question - Chelsea to get beaten by Valencia every time - Utd would still have to beat Bayern/AC, where as if we were to lose to Valencia in the semi's i could stomach it, losing to Chelsea in semi's would be unbearable
Rather chelsea go out at this stage, cos I fancy utd to go out at next.
And as you say, would stomach losing to valencia in semi much more than Chelsea

Of course there's 'a good draw' just like there's quite obviously a 'bad draw'.Originally posted by fredo View PostExactly mate.
I think one of two people in here are a tad too 'optimist' for my taste. Each of these teams are difficult to beat, so, nothing is decided and there is no 'good' draw.

****ing ridiculous oddsOriginally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostMancs to go out.
Bookie on SSN now saying a Liverpool-Man United final is a 2/1 shot.
Liverpool winning it would be a huge loss for them, but if Chelsea or United win it the bookies will be in the green.
I make us and Man U 1.3 to qualify from both our games, and we'll be worse than evens vs Chelsea, Man U perhaps 1.8 vs Bayern/Milan
I make that :
1.3 * 1.3 * 2 * 1.8 = 5/1

All we're happy with is that a route of PSV - Chelsea/Valencia to the final
is clearly easier than Man U - Chelsea/Valencia
Of course, PSV aren't formalities, so you can jump off your high horses.
