I think Utd will get knocked out at the next stage.

Ther`s not much between them but Manure have used up all their luck this season hopefully.they will also have a ever incresing injury list and larsson will be gone.........

PSV won't be an easy game, and we're much better playing as underdogs.

Having the 'favourites' tag for the tie could be disruptive, as was seen against Benfica last year, so unless we take the tie with 100% concentration it could well happen again. Yes, they seem the 'weakest' team left in the tournament on paper but as has happened before it doesn't always mean we progress through to the next round - of late LFC much rathers the 'underdog' tag!

I'm not saying I'd rather have been drawn against one of the 'big boys' but we must be very wary of them even though we've done well against them twice in this competition already this season.

Whilst on paper they certainly seem to be the best possible draw for us, if teh past two seasons is anything to go by, in Europe, we seem to really step it up for the bigger teams...

For the statos, away goals count.

Arsenal didn't score away - went out, Milan very nearly didn't make it, the rest all scored away - and went through.

It's as you say, crucial to getting through to the next round in the KO rounds.

I'm happy with the CL draw but I'm in agreement with the original post, we've gotta respect PSV. Admittedly they aren't the strongest team left in it but (playing badly or not) they are in the QF's for a reason.

All i know for sure is this...I get, minimum, two more brilliant afternoons at the pub, singing songs, telling jokes and (when applicable) firing curses at the big screen. Oh, and getting so drunk I forget where I live and start telling strangers I love em.

Very True mate. Remember Benfica and how we celebrated like we were already through. Each game as it comes and all that

I remember not wanting benfica at all because of the way people reacted. and even after we lost the first match people were still lah-di-dah and underestimating them

PSV is not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination! They are really good at the Phillips.
