    Deco? Kaka?

Chelsea, Liverpool battle for want-away Barcelona star Deco
    tribalfooball.com - March 09, 2007

Chelsea and Liverpool are expected to move for unsettled Barcelona midfielder Deco.

The Daily Mail says the two big spenders have the option of plumping for the Portugal international, who has already told Barcelona he needs a fresh challenge.

AC Milan are also being linked with Deco after his agent, Jorge Mendes, was spotted in Barcelona earlier this week. Mendes also represents Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

Chelsea, Liverpool to rock AC Milan with Kaka bid
    tribalfooball.com - March 09, 2007

Chelsea and Liverpool's new American owners are ready to test AC Milan's resolve over Brazilian star Kaka.

The Daily Mail says such is the renewed power of the Premiership in Europe, the Brazilian midfielder would find a move to England more appealing than staying in Serie A.

With Roman Abramovich standing by Andriy Shevchenko, the Blues will be favourites for Kaka, who regards the Ukrainian as his best friend in football.

However, Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez, backed by the money from new owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett, is sure to be in the running for the midfield superstar.

Kaka's management may also see the benefits of a move to the Premiership, given the merchandise and marketing success of Premiership stars over their Serie A counterparts.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Deco is a talented player but I absolutely detest him. He is one of the worst divers in football and has been for years.

Kaka is twice the player he is anyway IMHO and given the choice I'd MUCH rather have him.

Bet we don't sign either of them though.

                      just to add to that.
Maureen wont be at Chelsea next season, which makes the article look even worse.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I'm not convinced he'll leave Bazza. I'd love him to F off somewhere else coz I loathe and detest him but you'd be surprised what a CL win would do for friendships between JM and RA.
                        Liverpool born and bred.

True Les, I just think though that Abramobitch wants a more media friendly manager who plays an attractive style, even if it is just for his ego, things are being said, and its almost beyond the pointof no return for Maureen now.
Maureen done what he was brought in to do, i think now its time for someone else to step in. well in the russians eyes anyway. barring of course, an exception set of circumstances where they win the PL and CL.
