Not at all. I've been to the millenium stadium to watch us play the chavs when the roof was closed and I can tell you that it was still freezing.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

I suppose that's possible. Lets face it if you're spending £200,000,000 on a stadium then what's another £1,000,000 or whatever it would cost?Originally posted by kendoddsdadsdogsdead View PostNo chance of having overhead heating like Schalke's ground then?Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

It seems the original design of New Anfield by AFL was very much influenced by the Structural Engineers, Arup, who designed the City of Manchester Stadium. As I said a few pages ago, AFL getting sacked doesn't mean the design will be fundamentally changed when HKS take over the next phase, RIBA Stage 5.
My mate doesn't know how any new firm of architects will be able to bypass the planning permission granted for 61,000 seats but I suppose money talks...
There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.
