    Mourinho : Bellamy dangerous

“One thing is to play Peter Crouch as target man, another thing is to play Craig Bellamy in a lone position up front,” he says. “It is a completely different way to play.

“Now they have these two players, they have different styles of play. Every team that plays against Liverpool has to understand what it is to play them with Crouch and what it is to play them with Bellamy. So they have solutions.

“Bellamy was dangerous when we played against him for Newcastle; he was dangerous when we played against him for Blackburn. He will be dangerous playing for Liverpool.”

Eh... Maureen will never shut up because that's his character. If we are 2nd (3rd, 4th, etc.), he'll diss us, if we win the premiership he'll diss us... Why bother about that piece of scum. We're going towards 19 and nothing can't stop us. I'm 100% (or 99.9% - Dunk's number) shure about that!

                          Jose: Rafa doesn't like me
                          By Al Campbell

                          Saturday 12th August 2006
Jose Mourinho has tried to play some mind games ahead of the Community Shield by claiming Rafael Benitez has a problem with him and not vice versa.
Liverpool play Chelsea in tomorrow's annual curtain raiser and Chav boss Mourinho has tried to unsettle Benitez with his silly comments.

"The truth is he has a problem with me. I don't have a problem with him," sobbed Mourinho.

"Don't confuse things. I know my face is not always a nice face and that people think I'm aggressive, but don't always make me the bad guy."

Rafa Benitez is return showed that he is above such nonsense by dismissing Mourihno's comments.

"I know him and I know how he likes to play these kind of games, but I like the games you play for 90 minutes, not the games before and after," said the Liverpool manager.

maybe he should be a fortune teller instead of a football manager.
Wow Jose, you are so in the know
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                              Mourinho steps up mind games

Having already dismissed Liverpool's title credentials, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has stepped up the psychological warfare ahead of Sunday's Community Shield clash.

Mourinho claims The Reds should start the match as favourites against his charges, who he concedes are at 'just 50 per cent of their quality'.

The number of Blues players on World Cup duty coupled with a grueling pre-season schedule has had Mourinho lamenting his side's preparation for their title defence.

The Portuguese claiming Liverpool will start the match as favourites - and failure to win could even compromise the confidence of Rafa Benitez's team.

"They will feel that they are in much better condition than Chelsea, so they have to win the game," said Mourinho.

"If they lose against a Chelsea side at just 50 percent of their quality, that could affect their confidence ahead of the Premiership season."

"Every other team - even the ones not competing for the Premiership - have been working for more than a month.

"They will all start the Premiership on fire and we are not in the same condition.

"I just have to hope that the quality we have on the pitch will be enough to get us through."
I wish he would just shut up.
