Smacks of sensationalism from Bascombe imo.

It's all about what Parry and Moores promised Rafa when he signed the new deal. If the club can't keep their promise then he will leave IMO. If they back him up so we can challenge for the title then he will stay.

Will our new owners back Rafa with £50m+ net?
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

As good as his info is a lot of the time he certainly likes to hype stuff up especially in the Footy Echo on Saturdays, maybe because that doesnt go online or something I dunno.

Enough of the **** stirring and speculating, no point in it.

Dont be try and be witty Chris, it really doesn't suit you.

Bascombe knows more than most and if Bascombe says 'there's a 50% chance Rafa will leave' you would have to be a totally naive fool not to accept the fact that there's a serious question mark over Rafa's future at the club.

I think he'll stay, but it's obviously no way near as clear cut as many are proclaiming. There's considerable doubt.

If people want to stick their heads in the sand, fine, that's your choice.

I normally pay no attention to this **** but I'm concerned. Not worried, but a tad concerned.

I'd be sick to see him leave, absolutely ****ing sick.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The new owners have to be given a chance though AF. Yes they need to back Rafa but Rafa can't be holding the club to ransome. 50 million in one window is a ridiculous amount. I don't know where you get that from but I doubt Rafa would demand that much.

It wasnt trying to be witty, it was a genuine question. You are the most unhappy, moany person I have ever come across. You claim to be 20 years old, yet internet forums are your life, no wonder you're in trouble mentally.

Get out, get yourself a bird and have some fun. You might even raise a smile although thats probably taking it to far.

Or you could just carry on with your normal life of moaning on internet forums 7 days a week and correcting peoples spelling mistakes. Great fun!

                        I'm not worried.

It will cost our new owners a lot of money to keep Rafa but they would have to pay even more to a new manager.

They will give Rafa the money he needs IMO and it will be a very interesting summer.

Yep, he wont be getting £50m net thats for sure. We've got a few people to sell this Summer, Cisse, maybe Crouch or Bellamy, maybe Carson, maybe Pennant and probably a surprise or two. I can see him having over £50m but certainly not net. Of course like Bascombe said today your boyhood club, massive wages and a near unlimited kitty will be tempting but I cant see him going yet. He'll have plenty to spend this Summer and will want to go for the title bigtime I think, the job will be up again in 6months anyway

Rafa want us to challenge for the league title and £50m+ net is what it will probably take if he want us to challenge for the title next season. The price will go up in the summer on the extra special players because a lot of clubs have a lot of money to spend. Real will have ower £100m, Juve £70m, Barca will spend big this summer, Milan will spend whatever it takes to make them number one again. Chelsea and Man U will also have a lot of money to spend. Inter and Bayern is two other clubs that will spend big money.
