Just look at my dream signings in my signature.

    That's the players we need.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Micah Richards will no doubt have a wonderful career - and I'd like that to be with LFC, however at the moment, we actually don't need him to improve, he plays best, due to his age and experience as a Right Back, and in a few years time will probably move into the middle. However, we don't have a problem with our defence, it's resilient, experienced and doesn't concede many goals.

Lennon, is another with great potential, and we really missed out when he was at Leeds, available for £1m - plus he actually took a wage CUT to join Spurs at the time (Another Ridsdale classic no doubt!!) Fast and direct he is still far from the finished article, and would probably take £15m+ to take him from London, which is a big gamble.

Villa, obviously earning rave reviews in Spain, but we've been burnt before with high profile Spanish Strikers - and at the money he'd cost it would be a career gamble from Rafa, spend £30m at he flops and the writing would be on the wall.

3 would be more than enough in my opinion as we have probably one of the strongest squads in the league however we need 2/3 players that will instantly go into the 1st team and make a significant difference.

        My choices: (no particular order)
        Aaron Lennon
        David Villa
        Micah Richards

Cost us a fortune no doubt but sure if we want to be in a with a shout of number 19 then the cash will need to be splashed.

Echo the sentiment, but disagree on the names.

As it stands now, I would go for:

Alves - I would be happy with one of these two. Have no specific preference.
Ribery - Both would be nice though....expecially if Kewell is done for.
Huntelaar - costs less than Villa/Torres etc who are Chav priced. Klaas is more in our league and is the penalty box poacher, our new Fowler. Dutchies are also more likely to adapt in England.

If we have more money, I would also like a top left back.
But I guess we would be skint by then.

Truth is that it's not that simple. Common sense tells us that the more talented a player is, the more likely he is to succeed.

Then of course there's the exception to the rule, like Fernando Morientes.

Re Lennon and Richards, they look talented players, but it's one thing doing it in a small pond, quite another at LFC.

Rafa's a better judge of a player than any of us, so I'm letting him get on with it. It saddens me though that already some are getting stuck into Voronin because he isn't an overrated Football Manager/YouTube legend type like a Fernando Torres for example. But of course the herd would wet themselves if we signed him. Exsposure does not a good player make.

Can someone make this post a sticky please.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

World class is a terribly over used word, these are two players with potential, thats all at the moment.

Strongly Agree. People confuse celebrity with ability far too much these days. Just look at the scum's ronaldo. Ive never seen him produce anything in a really big game and he's being touted as the best player in the prem?!?

I totally forgot about Micah Richards reccently! All gone abit quiet around him reccently (probably due to Citeh poor form) I would love us to sign him but i think his best position is centre back (as Stuart Pearce has said many a time) maybe a possible replacement for Carra 4/5 years down the line?? Personally i think Rafa will go all out for Alves (which would rule out Lennon and Richards imo because of Alves can play both RB and RW and i can't see Rafa selling Pennant or playing Stevie in the middle that often) Although i would love us to get Lennon! Also Finnan has to play and Araboloa (sp?) seems decent enough back up!

Villa totally agree His movement off the ball is top draw and his finishing is something we lack at the moment and he has bags of pace to burn. Some might say he is as good if not better than Owen in his prime!

I would also love us to get Bale, i know he is only young and is being over hyped by the press but every time i seen him play (which is only 4/5 times) he has been a class act. He loves to get forward and he takes on players and has a great delivary (also handy for set pieces) but he is also great definsively and also quick.

I would love us to get another striker aswell like Klose but i can't see that happening with Veronin signing.

Possibly another left winger, i personally would try and get Gamst Pederson but i know a lot of you don't rate him but i think he is much better than what we have already and could really blossom in a better team.

I hate to say it, but Cristiano Ronaldo by any gage is definitely World Class.

Has all the tricks in the world, electric pace, and has matured into delivering the end product. There isn't another winger on the planet that strikes fear into the opposition as he does at the moment.
