He isn't lazy, he just doesn't work as hard without the ball like Kuyt or Bellamy does.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He'll be alongside Kuyt so there will be plenty of work done up front - besides its the presence of Eto rather than workrate that makes him a worthwhile addition - having someone as potent as he is will terrify any defence

He works his bollocks off which is why if Barca are winning and the opposition have a player storming down the right Rijkaard will put Eto'o out wide to track him as Ronaldinho wont.

He seems a total up himself moany prick but you cant question his work rate.

Eto'o is a really top striker, in the top half dozen in the world for me. He's quick, stong and a good finisher, what more do people want.

but if you look at his career the first year at a club he is rather slow but then his goal tally picks up...

as he scored 14 goals in 27 games in his first season for sofia, but was bought by leverkusen after an impressive run of A run of nine goals in 11 games in 2001, and ended his spell at the club with 25 goals in 50 games...

at leverkusen he started out in his with just with just 16 goals in his first 67 games but ended up with 69 goals 154 games...

so i expect him to start to really shine next year at spurs. just a hunch...

That's a possibility mate, but it's also possible that he just isnt good enough to be prolific in the premiership. Not dissimilar to Kuyt, Crouch or Bellers.

                    bollocks

eto'o works as hard as any striker in the world

barcelona's system requires him to either stay central or stay wide, he doesnt spend as much time dropping into the midfield or moving sideline to sideline like kuyt or bellamy. he moves with more purpose and makes smarter runs -his movement without the ball is superb.

he's a genius with the ball at his feet, he was absolutely brilliant yesterday

The clinical finishing and workrate of Ian Rush, the enthusiasm of Kevin Keegan, the opportunism of Robbie Fowler, the aerial ability of Roger Hunt, the pace of Michael Owen, and the technique, vision and creativity of Kenny Dalglish.

But even then I suspect they wouldn’t be satisfied.

We won't be satisfied until we a re rightly crowned champions again.

Until then, all the players will be criticised consistently.

No I wouldn't. He'd have to be as ugly as Peter Beardsley to scare the f*ck out of defenders as well.
