I've ****ed up too. It was me Mum's 50th last weekend, and we all went away. She said I didn't have to bother with Mother's Day, so I took it literally. She meant "don't bother with a present". My sister's sent her a card. I haven't. What was I thinking?!?!

Only a win at Villa could take my mind off these feelings of guilt.

It's alright. There's a shop near to the pub I'm going to be watching the game in. I can see myself nipping in at half time to buy a cheap card. Plus I quite fancy the bird who works there so it's a win-win situation.

That and a quick phone call should get me in the good books. My sister lives closer to her, she can be my representative.
